Awake: NBC Debuts the First 8 Minutes Online!

I already wrote about this new show called Awake back in August 2011, when it wasn't scheduled for a premiere date yet. After months of waiting, NBC has finally set the premiere for March 1 and even revealed the first eight minutes of the pilot episode!

I haven't found the time to watch the clip below yet, so I can't say much more about Awake right now other than that I've been excited for this one since its first teaser trailer appeared online. It seems to have quite a decent cast and thrilling story behind it. If you didn't know anything about Awake yet, here's a little summary:

Police detective Michael Britten (Jason Isaacs) regains consciousness following a car accident involving his wife Hannah (Laura Allen) and his son Rex (Dylan Minnette). Michael moves back and forth between two realities: In one, Rex survived while Hannah is dead; in the other, Hannah survived but Rex did not. Trying to keep both his loved ones alive, Michael starts living a "double life," moving back and forth between the two realities, dealing with different personal conflicts and police partners. He also starts noticing strange links between the two realities.

Seems like the audience will be tasked to figure out what's going on or which reality is real – or if anything is real at all –, what sounds like a sweet premise. If you're curious now, check out the first eight minutes here:
