Sterling Archer, My New Hero

Continuing my apparent penchant for being late to the party, I just caught up with Archer, one of the coolest and funniest animated shows I've seen recently.

The show's titular hero is a secret agent who has more in common with Charlie Sheen than with James Bond, and hilarity ensues in almost every scene. Here goes Wikipedia:

Set at ISIS, the International Secret Intelligence Service in New York City, suave but incredibly self-centered master spy Sterling Archer deals with global espionage; his domineering, hypersexual mother/boss, Malory Archer; his ex-girlfriend (and fellow ISIS agent), Lana Kane; and his other ISIS co-workers (including fellow agent Ray Gillette, accountant Cyril Figgis, Human Resources representative Pam Poovey, secretary Cheryl Tunt, and Applied Research head Doctor Krieger); as well as a less-than-masculine code name, "Duchess".

Archer features some great voice work, a sweet visual style, and the writers crank out dirty jokes whenever possible. If you can live with the pretty sleazy humor, you should give it a shot immediately and I promise you won't regret it.

The show has been renewed for a fourth season in February, by the way, and I still have to catch up quite a few episodes. Enjoy the promo trailer below and you know what you're in for:
